Revenue share (rev share) pays the affiliate a percentage of the NGR from the customers they referred, usually monthly and often for the lifetime of the customer. Because NGR is defined by each programme, the same percentage can mean very different money at two operators.
Revenue share can also be negative in a month where players win, which is where negative carryover matters.
